Freezer Beef

Twin Oak Farms also offers to its customers the opportunity to purchase quality beef for their freezer. Purchasing a hanging half or quarter of beef to help fill your freezer is a large project for most people. To help you in your decisions we have assembled the following information. Twin Oak Farms also offers beef by the bundle, you tell us what you want in your bundle and we will quote you a special custom bundle price

Freezer Beef Purchase Procedure

Call Jason Workman at 419-651-2442 to request purchase.

Place Request for  ½ beef.

You will be notified of scheduled date. At this time:
1. Pay the $500 deposit to Twin Oak Farms.

After slaughter and hanging weight is determined:

  1. You will be notified of the final cost of the beef.
  2. You need to give the butcher your cutting order.
  3. Make the final payment for the beef to Twin Oak Farms
  4. Beef will be cut, processed, shrink wrapped & frozen.
  5. After final payment, the beef will be released to you.

Beef Pick-Up:

  1. Pay the butcher for processing.
  2. Pick-up the meat and transport to your freezer. (Delivery can be arranged at an additional cost)

Tips

  1. Be sure you have adequate freezer space.
  2. Transport as soon as possible to your freezer.

APPROXIMATE EXAMPLE: whole beef hanging weight 900 pounds.

Half hanging weight: 450 pounds X $3.75 = $1687.50

Approximate butchering fees for 450 pounds: $412.00 (dependent on cutting instructions)
